Our client in Azewijn is a manufacturer of ceramic bricks. They produce facing bricks in various sizes and colors using sustainable methods. The company is defined by the following brand values: reliable, entrepreneurial, leading, and sustainable.
Our client is currently seeking a Technical Service Technician (specializing in troubleshooting). In this role, you ensure that production keeps running smoothly. Production lines operate on a two-shift basis from Monday to Friday, while the kiln runs 24/7. You play a vital role in resolving malfunctions quickly and safely.
You will work according to a fixed, predictable 3-3-3 shift schedule:
• 3 days of early shifts.
• 3 days of late shifts.
• 3 days off.
This offers a high degree of routine combined with scheduled time off.
Your responsibilities:
• Locating and resolving mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Performing corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Analyzing malfunctions and contributing ideas for structural improvements.
• Collaborating with operators and colleagues from the technical department.
• Ensuring the safe and reliable operation of machinery and furnace installations.
Requirements: - Completed technical education (e.g., mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering). - Relevant experience. - Willingness to work shifts and participate in an on-call rotation.
