Are you crazy about technology, customer-oriented and do you enjoy solving malfunctions and helping customers to optimally use our machines? Then you are the Service Engineer we are looking for.
What are you going to do?
As a Service Engineer, you solve problems with Voortman machines at our international customers and help customers to get maximum availability and output from the machines. The focus in this role is on the different types of laser machines.
As a specialist, you know everything about our laser machine and you use this knowledge to help the customer if there are questions or malfunctions. In addition to technical knowledge, safety and process knowledge are also essential.
If a problem or question from a customer cannot be solved remotely by our support team, it will be transferred to the service team to go on location. On location, you are not alone; if you have any questions, your colleagues from the internal service are ready to help you. In this role, you are on the road a lot and visit international customers from smaller steel construction companies to large multinationals. This requires you to be flexible and to like changes. We ensure that you are well prepared for your trip. From the transfer and your plane ticket to the hotel and any rental car. Everything is arranged for you.
Our Service Engineers are part of the Customer Service department. This young and dynamic team consists of the disciplines Support, Service and maintenance.
