Engineer
3D Ship Engineering is a growing and ambitious organization operating in the maritime industry.
We are engaged in designing ships and other special vessels, working out maritime constructions and project engineering. The assignments within the maritime industry vary from inland vessels to coastal vessels and larger yacht building projects.
To expand our office in Grave and our team, we are looking for an engineer.
In this position you will be active as an engineer within our company.
The goal is to convert all specific wishes and requirements that our customers have into designs, construction plans, production drawings or 3D models. For this we use both 2D and advanced 3D drawing software. We mainly work from our office in Grave, but occasionally we work at the customer's location.
Most common tasks and responsibilities are:
You will make construction and production drawings. You prepare basic and concept drawings for various types of ships and marine structures. You produce detailed 3D structural models.
You also support the project team, both internally and from the client. What do you bring - Minimum MBO-4 education, preferably naval architecture/maritime engineering/mechanical engineering - Experience with 2D (Autocad) and 3D drawing software, experience with Siemens NX is a plus - Technical insight - Accurate, stress resistant and flexible - Great problem solving ability - Clear communication and a real team player - Good knowledge the English language What do we offer you? - Full time employment - Good salary and fringe benefits - Plenty of training opportunities - 27 vakantiedagen en 13 Adv-dagen - 27 vacation- and 13 Adv-days - Flexible working hours - Possibility to work from home
