For a leading technical manufacturing company in the Nijmegen region, we are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join a team of dedicated professionals. You will contribute to the production of custom-made stainless steel pipework and constructions used in demanding industrial applications. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for assembling, tack welding, and final welding of high-quality stainless steel pipework and fabrications. You will work independently from technical drawings and ensure that all products meet strict quality standards and dimensional tolerances.
Your daily tasks include: - TIG welding stainless steel pipes with diameters ranging from 10 mm to 100 mm - Working with material thicknesses between 1 mm and 3 mm - Welding according to technical drawings and established quality procedures - Producing welds within dimensional tolerances of up to 1 mm - Performing purge welding procedures to ensure optimal weld quality - Completing full-penetration welds on stainless steel pipe systems - Assembling and tack welding pipework and structural fabrications - Positioning, aligning, and securing components before welding - Reading and interpreting technical and 3D engineering drawings - Carrying out basic turning and milling operations when required - Cutting and machining various pipe materials using workshop equipment
