Packaging Handler / Packaging Cleaner

A company in Hengelo that has been involved in industrial cleaning since 1987. The company has two main divisions: Tank cleaning and Packaging cleaning.
What are your duties?
As a packaging handler / packaging cleaner, you are involved in cleaning, checking and sometimes repairing used plastic packaging. Think of: - IBC containers of approximately 600-1,000 litres - Variboxes - Drums of approximately 60-200 litres - Jerrycans/cans of approximately 10-30 litres - The packaging may previously have contained chemicals.
Your duties will include: - cleaning packaging manually or by machine; - drying packaging; - check that they are properly clean and in order; - removing stickers; - carry out minor repairs and technical maintenance; - help resolve faults with the machines or production line; - working in accordance with safety and quality regulations.
What are we looking for?
- Motivated and reliable staff - You're physically fit and don't mind being active - You can work both independently and as part of a team - You work accurately and have a keen eye for safety - Experience is a bonus, but not essential - You speak at least basic English
