Every project is different. One week you could be working on a large apartment building where the hoist is raised as the building gets taller, so you'll return to the same site several times. The next week you might install a smaller hoist that can be completed in just one day.
The hoists you work on can reach heights of up to 50-60 meters, so working at height is an important part of the job.
Before the equipment is delivered to site, your colleagues in the workshop inspect and prepare it. Once everything arrives on site, it's your job to assemble the hoist, secure it safely, and make sure it's working properly. You'll also explain to customers how to use the hoist safely.
What the job entails: - Install and dismantle personnel and material hoists on construction sites. - Check and test the equipment before it's put into use. - Show customers how to use the hoists safely. - Make sure the hoists are installed and secured correctly. - Work on different construction projects across the Netherlands.
