For our client located in the beautiful city of Maastricht we are looking for a Treasury Officer (BSc/MSc minimum of 2 years of experience)
Our client is a world-leading synthetic rubber company, with about 3,800 employees and a presence at 20 production sites in 9 countries. The core business is the development, manufacturing and marketing of synthetic high-performance rubber for use in the automotive and tire industries, the construction industry, and the oil and gas industries.
Job description - Confirmation of deals in TMS - Master data management in TMS - Set up and approval of SSI's (standard settlement instructions) for treasury payments - Create and approve templates for manual payments - Reconciliation of bank statements - Close communication with the international legal entities on internal finance transactions and according accounting entries - Involvement in credit management tasks - Involvement in documentary business (LC's, etc.) - Knowledge of and adherence to applicable guidelines and limits
Profile - Master degree in finance or business administration - Minimum 2 years of professional experience in treasury department's back office of multinational company - Knowledge of financial risk management (back office/middle office function) for multinational corporation(s) - Knowledge of treasury management systems and treasury-related IT solutions - Knowledge of credit management and documentary business of advantage - Capability to work in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary global business environment - Collaborative and communicative personality - Strong analytical and problem solving skills, high degree of accuracy - Fluency in English
