IT Support Systems Specialist

What are you going to do as an IT Support Systems Specialist?
In this position you are part of the Service Team and you play a pivotal role in the service and systems processes between external service partners, customers, dealers and the internal organization. You are responsible for providing technical systems information and providing specialist support in order to achieve optimal service to (internal) customers. You report directly to the IT Manager.
Tasks and responsibilities of the IT Support Systems Specialist:
-Follow up and resolve technical escalations;
-Takes ownership of specific application(s) and system(s) areas, as assigned;
-Managing and communicating new technological trends;
-Evaluates interrelationships between systems, identifying how changes may affect other systems;
-Fulfilling a central role in maintaining relationships with service centers and headquarters in Europe;
-Monitoring the performance (KPIs) of service centers;
-Works with other departments to gain an understanding of the business need for changes, modifications or new systems to be implemented;
-Coordinating service activities with regard to new product lines;
-Providing technical support in translating user manuals, menu structures, etc.;
-Detecting, investigating and reporting the quality of systems within the Benelux market;
-Supporting and training field service engineers, service center engineers and call center agents;
-Maintains diagrams and other documents regarding the application(s) or system(s) functionality.
