Corporate Legal Counsel
As Corporate Legal Counsel in SHV Energy's Legal and M&A department, you will be based at the head office in Hoofddorp and provide legal support to the SHV Energy Management Board, the General Counsel and various global staff departments. The role reports to SHV Energy's General Counsel.
You will provide broad, practical and business-oriented legal advice, with a focus on corporate law, commercial contracting, governance and compliance matters. The role supports SHV Energy's global LPG business as well as its transition into sustainable fuels and renewable energy activities. The position also includes corporate housekeeping responsibilities and the coordination of external counsel across multiple jurisdictions. You will need strong business acumen, sound judgement, clear communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a multicultural and multi-jurisdictional environment. Fluent in Dutch and English.

The high level key activities of this role are:
1.Commercial and corporate legal support - Support the General Counsel in the negotiation, review and drafting of international commercial contracts, including sales, procurement, and intercompany agreements. - Draft, prepare and manage legal documentation such as powers of attorney, letters of intent, non-disclosure agreements, corporate approvals and related transaction documents. - Assist with complex corporate matters, including transaction-related work and legal support for group projects.
