Technical Information Security Officer
Role purpose: Lead and strengthen the organization's technical security posture by designing, implementing, and governing cybersecurity controls, ensuring risk is managed and security requirements are embedded across systems and operations. Core responsibilities - Define and maintain technical security standards, baselines, and reference architectures. - Oversee security engineering for networks, cloud, endpoints, identity, and application platforms. - Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews for projects and changes. - Drive vulnerability management, including scanning, prioritization, remediation tracking, and reporting. - Support incident response with technical investigation, containment guidance, and lessons learned. - Ensure security monitoring and logging requirements are implemented and aligned to detection needs. - Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business stakeholders to embed security-by-design. - Contribute to audits, compliance evidence, and security governance documentation. Required skills and experience - Strong knowledge of security controls across cloud , network , endpoint , IAM , and application security . - Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, secure configuration, and hardening. - Ability to translate risk into actionable technical requirements and remediation plans. - Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS). - Experience with security tooling (e.g., SIEM, EDR,...
