As a franchise organisation, we support care entrepreneurs in starting, taking over, and running a location. This includes guidance, training, coaching, quality assurance, real estate, and communications.
What is care entrepreneurship?
Care entrepreneurship is different from being an employee. As a care entrepreneur, you direct the daily care, your team, and your own business-for Herbergier and Thomashuis, together with your life partner. You operate within a proven care concept while also bringing your own knowledge and experience to the role. For Herbergier and Thomashuis, you and your partner also live on-site in a private apartment.
Care entrepreneurs consciously choose small-scale living, personal attention, and responsibility. They know their residents well and stay close to their team, relatives, and day-to-day operations. While they receive advice and support from DDN as franchisor, they are ultimately responsible for running their location.

Herbergier
As a care entrepreneur at Herbergier, you live in or adjacent to the Herbergier home together with your life partner, and potentially your family. One of the entrepreneurs is a registered healthcare professional (BIG-registered) with extensive experience in healthcare. In addition, one of you has leadership experience. Together, you manage a team of approximately 30 staff members.
Thomashuis
