Job description
As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer you work independently on location with our customers in the Benelux, Europe and worldwide. You are used to being away from home (for a longer period of time)! Your main tasks are to put multi-drive systems into operation, manufactured in our own workshop in Tholen, and to offer turnkey solutions. In addition, you travel internationally for troubleshooting and large-scale maintenance of electrical cabinets, for new construction, conversion and adjustments. Of course you are well taken care of when you work with our customers abroad, and you are generously compensated.
Accurate documentation of your work, in English, is also very important. The resulting reports are forwarded to our customers, so that they can always keep the process transparent. Van Meer works completely digitally for this with the help of laptops and smartphones, which you naturally receive from us.
With your technical insight you help customers to find the best solutions. You look and think beyond just the designated assignment and are aware of what we as Van Meer can do even more for the customer. Thanks to your expert services, you strengthen the relationship with the customer and expand it further where possible.
What are you bringing?
Thanks to your previous experience as a Commissioning Engineer, you are familiar with working at customer sites. You like to work proactively and independently and, because of your knowledge and experience, you also like to respond flexibly to unexpected situations.
