The Global Engineering Solutions division, with over 300 employees globally, is responsible for managing capital investments and designing and executing capital projects for the organization. GES is structured into a Technology organization (responsible for project design), a Delivery organization (responsible for project realization), and a Project and Business Support organization. The Technology organization, based in Boxmeer, the Netherlands, consists of approximately 20-25 employees.
Purpose of the Role
As the Senior Specialist Process Engineering, you will report to the Technology Center AH Boxmeer Engineering Director. You will be responsible for the engineering design, installation, and qualification of complex manufacturing equipment, ensuring that operators can produce products in a safe and compliant manner. Specifically, you will focus a project in the Beta Lactam Formulation Area.
The equipment, including Beta Lactam formulation vessels, complex API powder handling isolators, downflow booths, and auxiliary equipment, is mostly designed and under construction. However, some remaining challenges with final details and automation integration still need to be addressed. Afterward, installation, commissioning, and qualification will be required.
You will work within a matrix organization, collaborating with a diverse group of engineers from various disciplines, such as automation, process, mechanical, HVAC, civil, and commissioning & qualification engineers.
