Moral Fabric is a spin-out from The School for Moral Ambition, which has been running several programs in the cause areas of animal welfare, tobacco control, democracy, and tax fairness. Moral Fabric has about 10 EA-aligned customers in the Netherlands, and we only work for other non-profits in this space.
Moral Fabric runs operations for nonprofits working on sizable, solvable, and sorely neglected problems. Finance, legal, people, and the tooling underneath. We do the ops, our nonprofit customers do the good.
We embed rather than advise. Each customer adds Moral Fabric as a set of roles inside their own structure, where we can see what we mutually expect from each other. Today we work with about a dozen customers, such as Profit for Good, Doneer Effectief, Safe AI Netherlands, Impact Unfiltered, Delta Instituut, IPE, Bureau Burgerberaad.
Every policy, tool stack and process we build becomes a pattern in the Moral Fabric app .
Ruben started in 2026 out of The School for Moral Ambition , which he co-founded. Eva joined as co-founder after years of leading operations at tech & impact scale-ups. 80,000 Hours ranks nonprofit operations management among its top ten highest-impact career paths. We aim to help solve the absorption problem the nonprofit sector faces.
