You will combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership, guiding a team of approximately 3–8 Mechanical Engineers.
You will be responsible for the functionality, quality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness of mechanical designs. Working closely with the Project Manager and multidisciplinary teams, you will coordinate technical activities, monitor project progress, and support effective technical decision-making.
You will also coach fellow engineers and contribute to design reviews, engineering change processes, and the continuous improvement of engineering methodologies.

Wat wij vragen- HBO/WO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field
- Minimum 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience in a high-tech environment
- Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter
- Strong mechanical design and problem-solving skills
- Experience with structured product development, preferably the V-model
- Technical leadership and team coordination skills
