Our client is a well-established organisation in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, operating a complex site with critical utilities and electrical infrastructure. Safety, compliance, and reliable day-to-day operations are key priorities, alongside continuous improvement and investment in site projects.
We are looking for an Electrical Operations & Project Engineer to support safe, compliant electrical operations on site and to lead/contribute to improvement and capital projects. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on practical application in the field-ensuring electrical work is planned and executed safely, systems remain reliable, and projects are delivered in line with Dutch regulations and site standards.
- Act as the on-site electrical subject matter expert supporting daily operations and maintenance activities.
- Ensure electrical installations are inspected, maintained, modified, and operated in line with NEN 3140 (and NEN 1010 where applicable) and internal EHS/engineering standards.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting support, including root cause analysis for electrical failures and operational issues.
- Oversee safe execution of electrical work, including permit-to-work processes, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and contractor activities.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities, ensuring documentation and electrical dossiers are accurate and up to date.
- Support the electrical scope of site projects from early concept through commissioning and handover to operations.
