Job description
In this versatile role, you are the link between management and our curing/dairy team. You direct, motivate, and actively participate in the production process of our delicious specialty cheeses and dairy products. Here, you are responsible for curing, pressing, and brining high-quality specialty cheeses, as well as making our dairy products, such as yogurt and quark. You will be taught the cheesemaking process by our best cheesemakers. The duties of a curder involve ensuring the curd is prepared for pressing into cheese (this is done by hand). You ensure the cheeses are placed in the cheese vats and that they are turned. Additionally, you assist with cleaning equipment and machinery and are responsible for a hygienic work environment.
We ask
• You have completed at least an MBO level 4 education
• You are available 36-40 hours, on weekdays, but also on weekends and during the evenings
(working days are normally from Monday to Friday and working hours vary across 4 shifts, NO NIGHT SHIFT)
• You are attentive, accurate, flexible, and stress-resistant
• You speak and write fluent Dutch (English is a plus)
• Knowledge of the food industry
• You are proactive, quality-conscious, and have an independent work attitude
