What will you do?
As a central heating engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting and repairing heating systems. You will work for private individuals, housing associations, businesses, healthcare institutions, schools or on renovation and maintenance projects.
Your duties may vary depending on the client. One day you might be installing a new central heating boiler or replacing an existing system. On another day, you might be carrying out maintenance, resolving a fault, connecting radiators or working on pipework, flue gas outlets, expansion tanks, fittings and control systems.
