Over de functie As a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer CAM Engineer you will be responsible for creating NC programs for multi-axis milling and mill-turn machines, as well as providing essential shop floor support to CNC machine operators. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and precise manufacturing of landing gear parts, and you will play a key role in solving machining problems as they arise.
What you'll do
- Develop / optimize NC programs for multi-axis milling and mill-turn machines using advanced CAM software.
- Provide hands-on shop floor support to CNC operators, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues on the shop floor to maintain production quality and efficiency.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that machining processes meet the required specifications and standards.
- Continuously improve machining processes and contribute to the development of best practices within the department.
- Utilize root cause analysis, preventative and corrective action to reduce / eliminate non-conformances.
- Develop / improve standard operation procedures (SOP).
