Your job
As a Technical Maintenance Coordinator at Wageningen University & Research, you are responsible for the technical assurance of maintenance and service contracts within our real estate portfolio.
You ensure that maintenance and service contracts are not only carried out, but are technically sound, properly documented, and compliant with the required standards. In doing so, you look beyond execution alone and focus on how installations contribute to safety, functionality, and continuity. As a Technical Maintenance Coordinator, you contribute to strengthening technical control and assurance within the Building & Housing Management (BHM) section, which is part of the Real Estate & Housing (V&H) department.
Your duties and responsibilities include: - assessing maintenance reports and completed work from a technical perspective; - monitoring quality, safety, and compliance with contractual agreements; - assessing and processing technical asset updates in Planon; - reviewing compliance-related information (such as inspections, certifications, and test reports); - coordinating with contractors, project managers, and internal stakeholders regarding execution and performance.
You will work with colleagues within the Building & Housing Management (BHM) section, part of the Real Estate & Housing department within the Facilities & Services division.
Within BHM, different disciplines collaborate closely, including project management, asset management, and technical operations.
