As we continue to scale up our production capabilities, we are expanding our Nanofabrication team. We are looking for a Nanofabrication Engineer to join us at our headquarters in Delft. In this role, you will be directly involved in the fabrication, optimization, and development of nanofabrication processes that form the core of our SNSPD technology.
This is a full‑time position, ideally starting in mid-July/August 2026 , and classified under Function Group J (depending on background: Bachelor / Master / PhD).
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Key responsibilities include: - Fabricate SNSPD devices in the cleanroom with high precision and reproducibility. - Execute standardized nanofabrication production runs. - Optimize existing fabrication processes to improve yield, stability, and reproducibility. - Develop new fabrication processes and transfer them to newly installed cleanroom equipment. Daily work takes place primarily in the VLL cleanroom in Delft, with occasional activities in the EKL cleanroom. You will work with a broad set of tools and processes, such as: - Electron‑beam lithography - Laser writer patterning - PECVD / ICPECVD - Photolithography - Reactive ion etching - Sputtering systems - Bosch etching - Wet bench processes - ALD systems You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Nanofabrication, R&D, and Production to ...
