Head Housekeeper at MyHotel Meppel!
MyHotel Meppel is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Head of Housekeeping. Are you someone who gets energy from leading a team, values quality highly, and ensures our guests stay in a clean and well-maintained hotel? Then we're looking for you!
In this versatile role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our housekeeping department. You will ensure the team works well together, that tasks are carried out efficiently, and that our hotel rooms, MyStay, and public areas always meet our quality standards. You will be visible on the floor, coach colleagues, monitor schedules, and actively participate in the work yourself. Together with other departments, you will ensure our guests have a pleasant and well-catered-for stay.

£2,645 - £2,900

What are you going to do
-
To manage, guide and motivate the Housekeeping team -
To be the first point of contact for colleagues and guests with housekeeping-related issues -
Working on the floor and supervising the quality of the cleaning work -
Inducting and guiding new employees -
Drawing up and adjusting staff schedules and rosters -
Carrying out room checks and quality rounds -
Managing stock, cleaning supplies, and linen -
Liaising with reception, technical services, and other departments -
Monitoring of hygiene, health and safety guidelines -
Schedule and coordinate periodic cleaning -
Identifying areas for improvement and reporting to the General Manager
