Combine hands-on development in C# and Unity with technical leadership, and work with your team to build XR solutions for customers around the world.
What will you do?
As a Lead Software Developer XR, you will provide direction to our in-house XR development team. You will contribute to the further development and enhancement of our existing XR application and translate technical challenges into reliable solutions for customers worldwide. In this role, you combine software development with technical leadership: at least half of your time will be spent actively contributing to the codebase.
You will take the lead in technical design and architectural decisions while safeguarding the quality, security, and maintainability of the software. You will work with technologies such as C#, Unity, OpenXR, and AR Foundation. You will also be involved with headset technology, mobile and iOS development, augmented reality, mixed reality, and AI tooling.
In addition to your technical contributions, you will help the team work effectively and predictably. You will mentor developers with varying levels of experience, organize the development process, and foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Together with Product Owners, QA Engineers, Solution Architects, and other development teams, you will ensure that dependencies and technical impediments are addressed in a timely manner.
Your responsibilities include: -
Developing, testing, and maintaining XR functionalities in C# and Unity; -
Leading sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and backlog refinement activities; -
Conducting code reviews and ensuring compliance with coding and security standards; -
Making decisions regarding technical design, architecture, tooling, and frameworks; -
