We are looking for an analytical and proactive professional who translates sustainability into practical actions within a technical and international manufacturing environment. The HSE & Sustainability drives and supports the further development and implementation of the sustainability policy, coordinates projects and monitors progress. You work closely with various departments to make sustainability objectives measurable and translate legislation and regulations into workable processes, reporting and improvement initiatives.
You will have the opportunity and responsibility to establish the department, further shape it and develop it into a professional, future-proof part of the organization. As the department evolves, the position offers clear opportunities to grow into a formal management role.
Key Responsibilities - Develop, implement and continuously improve Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies across multiple locations. - Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including occupational health and safety, environmental and safety legislation. - Conduct and update Risk Inventories & Evaluations (RI&Es) and translate findings into concrete improvement actions. - Identify, analyze and follow up on incidents, accidents and near misses. - Be actively present on the shop floor through safety rounds, observations and acting as a point of contact. - Organize and deliver toolbox me...
