Introduction
IMDS Operations B.V. is committed to improving patient outcomes in percutaneous coronary
interventions (PCI) through the development of innovative in-house technologies. Since its
establishment in 2008, IMDS has operated as a technology-driven organization that continuously
invests in research and development to support innovation and operational excellence.
IMDS recognizes that its activities, products, and services have an impact on the environment. The
organization is committed to protecting the environment, including the prevention of pollution,
sustainable resource use, climate change mitigation where applicable, and responsible waste
management, while maintaining the highest standards of product quality, regulatory compliance,
and patient safety.
Scope
This Environmental Policy applies to all activities, products, and services within the scope of the
Environmental Management System (EMS) of IMDS Operations B.V. The policy addresses
environmental aspects associated with:
• Building and facility management
• Operational activities and shipment processes
• Employee transportation and business travel
The policy focuses on environmental impacts related to:
• Energy consumption
• Air emissions
• Water usage
• Waste generation and disposal
• Resource consumption
• Packaging materials
• Transportation-related emissions
IMDS considers the potential effects of its operations on the natural environment and surrounding
community within the defined organizational boundaries.
