Final Project 1: Skill Management in Assembly
In the assembly department, more and more is being demanded of assembly workers. Due to increasing product complexity, customer diversity, and technological advancements, it is important to have a clear understanding of the knowledge and skills currently possessed by the team and those that are needed.
In this assignment, you will investigate how Moba can better manage and ensure the development, employability, and knowledge of its technicians. You will identify required and existing competencies and develop a practical proposal for skills management. In doing so, you will consider not only technical skills but also personal competencies that contribute to flexibility, quality, and long-term employability.
Final Project 2: Optimization of Work Allocation and Assembly Processes
Within the assembly of our main frames, we see opportunities to further optimize the division of labor and assembly times. In addition, we want to gain a better understanding of the causes of production losses within the process.
During this assignment, you will analyze the current division of labor, assembly times, and production output. You will investigate where bottlenecks occur and determine the extent to which production losses are caused by parts shortages or by inefficiencies in the assembly process. Based on your findings, you will make recommendations for improvements that contribute to more efficient and predictable production.
