An item that won't scan, an incorrect price at the till, a stock discrepancy that nobody can explain, or a new item that can't be ordered. As a Retail Process Co-ordinator, you ensure that these kinds of problems are not only resolved, but, above all, that they occur less and less frequently.
Our motto: dare to make yourself redundant! (There's still plenty of work to be done :-). Because the fewer operational problems that arise, the more time there is to further improve Retail and spend time in the shop with the customer.
You'll be part of the Retail department and, within that department, act as a key link between the shops, the distribution centre, Finance and IT. You'll report to the Retail Director.
What are you going to do?
You bring structure to operational processes and ensure that shops, the distribution centre, product range management and IT work together seamlessly. You maintain an overview, identify problems and discrepancies, investigate their causes and ensure that improvements are actually implemented. In doing so, you focus not only on resolving today's issues, but above all on what is needed to prevent the same issue or error from recurring. - Product management and data management : you ensure accurate and consistent product data, from new and amended products to replacements and phase-outs. You monitor aspects such as naming conventions, barcodes and data quality, and are therefore responsible for accurate and reliable data management. - Stock management and reporting : you monitor stock levels and discrepancies, investigate the causes and help shops to continuously improve their stock management processes.
