What you do:
As Legal Counsel, you will support the Head of Legal Northern Europe in delivering high-quality legal services across the Netherlands and the wider Northern Europe region (Benelux, Nordics, and Baltics). You will act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing practical, commercially focused legal guidance that enables business growth while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Allianz Group standards.
You will collaborate with colleagues across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Commercial, and Functional teams to manage legal risks, support strategic initiatives, and drive efficient legal processes in a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Advisory & Business Partnership
- Provide clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused legal advice across the insurance and assistance value chain. - Partner with business stakeholders on a broad range of legal, regulatory, and commercial matters. - Translate complex legal concepts into practical recommendations that support business objectives while managing risk. - Support strategic business initiatives, projects, and transformation programs from a legal perspective.
Contracting & Commercial Support
