SHEQ Manager HVK Manufacturing

As SHEQ Manager you will ensure compliance with applicable legislation and international standards while driving a culture of safety, operational excellence, quality and continuous improvement across the manufacturing site. Working closely with Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Plant Management, you will play a crucial role in improving overall plant performance and customer satisfaction. You lead the SHEQ team of 5 members and report directly to the Plant Manager.

What will you do?
Safety, Health & Environment

Develop, implement, and continuously improve the HSE management system.
Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and company standards.
Lead risk assessments, safety inspections, audits, and workplace evaluations.
Manage incident reporting, investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
Drive a proactive safety culture and increase safety awareness throughout the organization.
Quality Management & Compliance
Manage and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
Plan, conduct, and support internal and external audits.
Maintain compliance with ISO management systems and quality standards.
Lead customer complaint investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Ensure robust process control, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality assurance practices.
SHEQ Governance & Risk Management
Develop and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures and management systems.
Advise plant management on compliance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Monitor KPIs, performance trends, and SHEQ reporting.
Ensure compliance with certifications, legal requirements, and corporate standards.
Leadership & Capability Development
Lead, coach, and develop the SHEQ team.
Increase SHEQ awareness and ownership across all departments.
Support managers and supervisors in implementing SHEQ standards.
Deliver training programs and drive behavioural change throughout the organization.
