As a Freight Forwarder, you are responsible for organizing and coordinating transport assignments. You ensure an optimal loading rate, monitor the execution of transports, and maintain intensive contact with customers and suppliers. In doing so, you play an important role in achieving commercial objectives and ensuring customer satisfaction. You work under the responsibility of a supervisor and do not have hierarchical control yourself.
You will be responsible for accepting and scheduling transport orders daily through the transport management system, working closely with charters and other partners. You ensure efficient execution of transports, exploit commercial opportunities, and oversee the adherence to client agreements. Additionally, you maintain and expand the client base through acquisition and relationship management, negotiate rates, and prepare quotations that contribute to achieving financial goals.
In addition to operational and commercial activities, you are responsible for accurate administrative processing. You process transport data timely and accurately and monitor the financial handling of transport orders. You also prepare cost calculations, manage documentation, and oversee the creditworthiness of clients to ensure reliable cooperation.
You actively contribute to improving processes by identifying bottlenecks, following up on complaints, and proposing improvement initiatives based on evaluations. You also report on performance and customer satisfaction, ensuring...
