Manager, Account & Customer Support

At Verstegen, commerce, customers, and the supply chain converge every day. As Manager Account & Customer Support, you are precisely at that intersection. You lead a team responsible for ensuring that customer inquiries, orders, and agreements are effectively translated into our internal organization and vice versa. This is a crucial position, as any change in the chain will ultimately be felt by the customer. At the same time, there's an exciting transformation to lead. Verstegen is an organization with a long history, and many processes have evolved over the years. In the coming years, we aim to take further steps in digitalization, smarter working, and professionalizing Account & Customer Support. Therefore, we are not just looking for someone who can manage daily operations, but especially a manager who looks ahead, identifies opportunities, and brings people along in that journey. You will be responsible for an experienced team of approximately 12 colleagues and will be the connecting link between Sales, Planning, Logistics, and FSQ, among others. This requires someone who is assertive, can reconcile various interests, and maintains an overview even under pressure. What are you going to do?
As Manager Account & Customer Support, you are responsible for the Account & Customer Support team and the entire Order-to-Cash process. You ensure that daily operations run smoothly, but your most important task goes beyond that. Together with the team, you develop a vision for where Account & Customer Support should be in the next three to five years. How can processes be made smarter? Which activities can we digitize?
