As a Logistics Employee, you will work in the transshipment warehouse, also known as the cross-dock. Thousands of pallets are processed here every day. Together with your colleagues, you make sure that incoming goods are unloaded and processed quickly, safely and correctly.
During your shift, you will mainly work at the unloading docks. Using an electric pallet truck (EPT), you move pallets through the warehouse, while a handheld scanner is used to register the different shipments. You will also check goods for damage and make sure that any irregularities are properly reported and recorded.
Your responsibilities include: - Unloading trailers and swap bodies; - Moving pallets using an electric pallet truck (EPT); - Scanning and registering goods with a handheld scanner; - Placing goods in the correct location in the warehouse; - Checking shipments and packaging; - Identifying, reporting and registering any damage.
You will work full-time in a fixed afternoon or evening shift. Working hours are 12:00 to 20:30 or 13:00 to 21:30 PM.
