Teamlead Finance Beurs Volmacht
Role purpose: Lead and optimize finance operations for Beurs and Volmacht activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and efficient processes that support business performance and compliance. Core responsibilities - Manage and coach a finance team; set priorities, monitor workload, and support development. - Oversee period-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting for Beurs/Volmacht portfolios. - Ensure correct premium, commission, claims, and settlement processing in line with agreements and accounting standards. - Maintain and improve internal controls, governance, and audit readiness; address findings and risks. - Drive process improvement and automation across finance workflows; standardize data and reporting. - Collaborate with underwriting, operations, IT, and external partners to resolve financial issues and optimize performance. - Monitor KPIs, budgets, and forecasts; deliver insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Required skills and experience - Proven leadership experience in finance, preferably within insurance, MGA, broker, or delegated authority (Volmacht) environments. - Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and control frameworks. - Experience with close processes, reconciliations, and data quality management. - Analytical mindset with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - Process improvement mindset; experience with ERP/finance systems and advanced Excel/BI...
