Electrician or Electro technical officer wanted for Barge/Semi-Submersible vessel. Vessel is presently a barge and is working on projects. Soon she will get her own propulsion, and for that process we need extra hands in the engine room. We need an electrician or electro technical officer. You will join a team, with chief engineer, 2nd engineer, 3 engineer and 4th engineer, a motorman and an ab.
The ideal candidate will install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems and equipment onboard, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards. The role requires strong hands-on electrical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a demanding offshore environment.
This is a great opportunity to work on this entire process from barge to ship. Requirements: - STCW Electro-technical rating III/7 or Electro-technical officer III/6 - All stcw certificates up to date - Good English level - Knowledge of the Portuguese language is a plus We offer: - Fix rotation 8 weeks and 8 weeks off - Challenging workplace - Informal working atmosphere - Be part of a professionally motivated team
