Machine Operator Production SON (publications-50719-A)

As a production machine operator in Son, you will work full-time (40 hours per week) in a modern production environment. You are responsible for operating and monitoring machines and ensuring that the production process runs smoothly. In addition, you may also be assigned to pallet repair. Here, you check pallets for damage and repair broken pallets so that they can be used safely again.

On an average working day, you start together with your colleagues on the work floor. When working as a machine operator, you set up the machines, check the production, replenish materials and solve minor malfunctions. You keep a close eye on the process and ensure that everything meets the required quality standards.

When working in pallet repair, you check incoming pallets and identify which pallets are damaged. You repair these pallets and make sure they are sturdy and safe to use again. This is physical work in which you are constantly moving and need to work accurately.

You will work together with a friendly and collegial team where everyone helps each other. The work is varied and you will receive clear instructions to perform your job properly. It is a physically demanding position where safety, quality and accuracy are important.

- Minimum secondary education (VMBO)

- Experience as an operator is a plus, but not required

- Technical insight and interest in machines

- Willingness to work day shifts

- Living within 20 km of Son

- You speak English or Dutch
