What you will do?
As a Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing materials worldwide. You are not only a skilled researcher, but also a strong negotiator with excellent commercial skills. You will negotiate and manage purchasing contracts, assess price to quality ratios and keep us informed about the latest purchasing trends within our market segment.
You will be responsible for our inventory policy and the corresponding inventory strategy. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that the right materials are available on time and under the best possible terms and conditions.
You will maintain active relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, monitor delivery performance and manage risks throughout the supply chain. As a proactive professional, you will initiate actions to reduce risks within our supplier base and propose opportunities to lower the production costs of our products.
On a daily basis, you will work closely with the Sales, Logistics, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Planning and Production departments. You will be surrounded by skilled professionals who share a genuine passion for technology.
We would like you to: -
Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent higher professional education level, preferably complemented by a NEVI qualification -
Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience -
Have excellent knowledge and skills in procurement -
