With new digital solutions, we can, for example, better predict processes at Schiphol, so that passenger flows run smoothly and quickly. We also apply Deep Learning technology on images of our aircraft stands to provide optimal insights to handlers and airlines. Business Platform Schiphol Operations
Within the Business Platform Schiphol Operations (BPSO), we aim to ensure an operational process that is predictable, controllable and efficient. Our mission is to optimise our airport operations every day using technology and data. To this end, we work on topics such as integrated planning & forecasting, building a digital twin of our airport, Turnaround Insights and Total Airport Management and data analytics. We also ensure that existing applications used in operations are maintained and further developed. We do this in close cooperation with suppliers, our own development teams and other departments such as Data & Analytics, Operations and various platform teams within IT.
One of our productsservices is supporting and developing the Integrated Planning & Forecasting platform (IP&F). This IP&F platform contains several business-critical applications that help the organisation prepare and run the day of operations on the aspect of passenger flow forecasting and asset planning.
