Youth presenters wanted!
Cinekid is looking for film fanatics between 16 and 20 years old from (the) Amsterdam (area) to introduce films and supervise Q&As during Cinekid Festival 2026. Youth presenters wanted!
Are you a cinema lover, have you seen everything on Netflix or do you have the sharpest analyses on your friends' TikToks? Do you enjoy being in front of an audience to act or present, for example? Then become a youth presenter during Cinekid Festival 2026!
Cinekid is thé media- and film festival of the Netherlands. Here you can attend the coolest workshops and watch the best children's films. It doesn't stop there: after a selection of film screenings, a Q&A takes place. This is an after-screening where a guest is invited for an interview. Among others directors and film stars who are only too happy to tell you the most interesting and funniest facts about their film.
What does a youth presenter do?
As a presenter, you are responsible for introducing the films and leading the Q&As afterwards. In the introduction, you welcome the audience in the room and introduce the film they will be watching. During the Q&As, you will talk to the filmmakers and/or actors of the film and ask them questions! You will also coordinate questions from the audience. You can work as a presenter on your own, but we usually assign you in pairs. You can also invite a friend!
Who are you?
- You speak Dutch - You enjoy being in front of a (large) audience - You live in (the vicinity of) Amsterdam - As presenter, you are available for at least 3 days between 10 October and 16 October 2026 - Prior to the festival, you will get a training. More info on this is coming soon - It is nice if you can speak some English, but this is not obligatory
