We are looking for an experienced Accountant to take ownership of the financial reporting processes for our largest Dutch-based entities from a financial reporting perspective. This role goes beyond traditional accounting, focusing also on compliance with Dutch GAAP and strengthening the integrity of our financial data.
In this position, you will report to the Holding Controller based in Amsterdam. This position plays a central role in the Finance department and offers a great opportunity for further career steps within Karl Lagerfeld.

Key responsibilities - Take ownership of financial reporting and trial balance integrity for Dutch entities across Wholesale, Digital, and Royalty revenue streams, including payroll, transfer pricing activities, accruals, and period-end adjustments. - Ensure balance sheet integrity and robust reconciliations, including revenue analysis, improvements in wholesale reconciliations, inventory and POS-related reconciliations, intercompany balances, and key balance sheet accounts. - Ensure all reconciliations are fully supported, accurate, and aligned with underlying data sources. - Lead month-end close and reporting processes by executing month-end close in line with the reporting calendar and deadlines. - Deliver high-quality trial balances and reporting packages in OneStream, providing clear and insightful financial commentary. - Perform post-close validation checks to ensure completen...
