As part of KAIROS, RWE is procuring and implementing a scalable SCADA landscape for Central Europe that consolidates today's systems and supports a heterogeneous fleet of generation and flexibility assets. The role combines system engineering, SCADA expertise, secure integration and stakeholder coordination across business, IT, architecture and vendors.
About the role - Configure, maintain and enhance SCADA and automation solutions for KAIROS and the existing asset control landscape, resolve operational issues and implement technical changes to support reliable 24/7 operation and the transition from legacy systems. - Analyse commercial, operational and regulatory requirements and implement them as system configurations, technical specifications, work items, acceptance criteria and test cases. - Implement, configure, test and troubleshoot interfaces between SCADA, upstream RWE office systems, TSOs, assets, RTUs and internal services such as UDO, Refline calculation and Switching Engine. - Onboard assets and pools by creating and applying templates, import mechanisms, visualisations, signal extensions and operational diagnostics for a high-volume asset landscape. - Configure and verify data point handling for measurements, setpoints, commands and alarms, including quality status, plausibility checks, watchdogs, sign conventions and communication logging. - Deploy and operate SCADA services across cloud and on-premises environments, implement network segmentation and redundancy, and maintain monitoring, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code...
