Quality Assurance

The QA Officer is responsible for supporting the operational integrity and day-to-day execution of the company's Quality Assurance functions. Reporting to the Quality & Compliance Manager, this role focuses on monitoring processes, evaluating deviations, tracking CAPAs and processing product complaints to ensure that all activities comply with EU GMP/GDP standards.


The QA Officer acts as a hands-on technical assessor who reviews GMP and GDP documentation, assesses immediate quality risks and collaborates with team members to resolve operational compliance challenges. This role requires an observant, solution-oriented professional with excellent critical thinking skills and a strict commitment to Good Documentation Practices.

Qualifications and requirements:

Education:

At least secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent practical training.


Experience:
Proven hands-on experience working in a GDP and/or GMP regulated environment is required (for example pharmaceutical packaging, warehousing or manufacturing).


Technical skills:
Comfortable in checking and archiving documents, using Microsoft Office tools (for example Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.), using printers, scanners and mobile devices/tablets for taking pictures.
Ability to take precise measurements and record the data accurately.


Compliance knowledge
Clear understanding of basic GMP/GDP principles.
Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices for completing logs and batch records.


Language skills:
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
Basic knowledge of Dutch and/or German is a pré.

Ability to switch smoothly and efficiently between the active packaging environment and the quiet precision required for technical digital scanning.
Strong commitment to data integrity and compliance, with the confidence and responsibility to make decisions and escalate errors or deviations to management without compromising quality.
Eye for detail to spot minor discrepancies in text, colours, layout alignment, print quality, batch numbers and expiry dates.
