About Space Expo
Space Expo is the premier space museum in the Netherlands. You can find us in Noordwijk, right next to ESA ESTEC, the technical heart of the European Space Agency. Through interactive exhibitions, educational programs, and events, we bring space exploration closer to a wide audience. We welcome approximately 130,000 visitors annually, including many schools and families.
In the coming years, Space Expo will evolve into a Space Experience Center: a place where learning, research, and discovery seamlessly come together. Although this massive project is still in its early stages, it will eventually make your future work environment even more inspiring, varied, vibrant, and challenging.
With around 130,000 visitors per year and a growing interest in space exploration, there are plenty of opportunities for further development. The primary task of the Marketing & Communications department is to generate (group) visits through various online and offline channels and to increase awareness of Space Expo as both a museum and an event venue among the general public and the business community. As a Senior Marketing & Communications Officer, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications on Space Expo's commercial and communication ambitions. Together, you form the core of the Marketing & Communications department and are responsible for the visibility, positioning, and growth of Space Expo.
