In this function our specialist sources and manages a portfolio of products or services to improve cost position and supply security in the market through application of the strategic sourcing process. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction while building knowledge of the company, processes and customers. In this role, you will require understanding of key business drivers for your discipline and function. You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to your discipline or functional area. You are expected to provide informal guidance to new team members and be able to explain complex information to others. It is your responsibility to use technical experience, established practices, and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance impacts the quality of your own work and your team's work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.
