About the Role
As an AI Engineer at Swiss Re, you'll be at the forefront of developing transformative AI solutions that reshape how we approach complex insurance and reinsurance challenges. You'll collaborate with a diverse, global team across multiple locations including Armonk NY, Zurich, Bangalore, Singapore, Beijing, and Hong Kong, working directly with business experts and external clients to create AI-powered services that drive real business value.
Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop sophisticated AI solutions including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and other generative AI applications - Engineer and optimize prompts for various business use cases, ensuring reliability , accuracy , and performance of AI systems - Build end-to-end AI pipelines from data ingestion to model deployment and monitoring in production environments - Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions - Implement MLOps best practices including model versioning, A/B testing, and continuous integration/deployment for AI systems - Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their applicability to insurance and reinsurance business problems - Build and foster relationships with business leaders and clients to understand their needs and become a trusted partner in AI innovation
