A completed Mechanical Engineering degree (BSc or MSc), or a comparable degree such as Aerospace Engineering 2-5 years of relevant work experience Experience with 3D CAD tools (preferably SolidWorks or Inventor) Experience with strength calculations and FEM A strong sense of manufacturability Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written

Job description
As a Mechanical Engineer within Special Equipment, you are responsible for designing and calculating advanced machines for the offshore and heavy machinery sectors. With your creativity and technical expertise, you contribute to innovative solutions that align with client needs and meet the highest safety standards. Through hand calculations and FEM simulations, you develop robust designs that support sustainability and the energy transition. You work closely with end clients, manufacturers and suppliers, applying your expertise to deliver high-end, customer-focused constructions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop yourself and grow into a Senior Mechanical Engineer position.
