Senior Electrical Engineer (R&D) DeltaQuad Duivendrecht, Netherlands The role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for the architecture, development and integration of electronic hardware across our UAV platforms. You'll work closely with Mechanical Engineering, Embedded Software, Systems Engineering and Production to translate product requirements into reliable, manufacturable designs.
This is not purely a hardware design role. You'll also work directly with suppliers, coordinate technical development activities and ensure electronic subsystems are delivered on time, within specification and ready for production.
We're looking for someone who has experience developing highly integrated electronic products. Think of the complexity behind designing a smartphone: combining processors, power management, RF communication, sensors, high-speed interfaces and embedded hardware into one reliable, production-ready product. That level of systems thinking is exactly what we're looking for. Your responsibilities - Design and develop electronic hardware for UAV systems. - Define electronic architectures from concept through production. - Develop analogue and digital circuits, power electronics and communication interfaces. - Work closely with Embedded Software Engineers on hardware/software integration. - Support RF integration and communication systems. - Manage technical development activities for electronic subsystems. - Coordinate suppliers throughout design, prototyping and production. - Review schematics, PCB layouts and prototypes. - Perform testing, validation and root cause analysis. - Support Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Design for Test (DfT) and Design for Assembly (DfA). - Drive continuous improvements in reliability, manufacturability and cost.
