Job Title: Senior D365 Consultant
Project Scope:
A freelance engagement with a multinational manufacturing organisation that has recently gone live on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and is now operating in production. This is not an implementation role - the consultant will act as a trusted advisor, conducting an independent AS-IS assessment of the current D365 landscape, engaging business stakeholders to understand pain points, and bridging the gap between end users and the existing support organisation. Deliverables include prioritised improvement recommendations, guidance on process optimisation and user enablement, and input into the definition of a future support and governance model.
Must Have Experience: - 15-20 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a support, advisory, or enhancement capacity - Proven ability to perform business process assessments and system health reviews - Experience engaging directly with business stakeholders and executive-level users - Ability to operate independently and provide strategic, practical recommendations - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Experience in multinational or multi-country environments highly desirable - Preferred: Dynamics 365 Finance and/or Supply Chain Management, experience with manufacturing organisations, post-go-live stabilisation/vendor transition situations, and maturity assessments/improvement roadmaps - English (additional European languages a plus)
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Netherlands, Europe
On-site Presence: Required initially - up to 3 days/week until the team is familiar, transitioning to primarily remote thereafter
Rate: €€ Competitive
