About the Role
As a Purchasing & Logistics Employee, you are responsible for the day-to-day execution of operational purchasing- and logistics activities. You ensure that materials are available on time, inventory levels are accurate, goods flows are processed efficiently, and you play a key role in the administrative handling of transactions within the ERP system.
You will work closely with various departments within PHIX, as well as suppliers and logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing -
Prepare, place, and follow up on purchase orders for materials, components, and services. -
Monitor delivery times, costs, and material availability, and report any deviations. -
Review and process order confirmations and supplier data. -
Maintain operational contact with suppliers.
Inventory Management -
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records. -
Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify shortages. -
Perform inventory counts and investigate discrepancies. -
Support inventory control activities and process improvement initiatives.
Logistics Operations -
Execute goods receipt, storage, internal distribution, and shipment of materials. -
Package materials and prepare national and international shipments. -
Prepare and process shipping, export, and transportation documentation. -
Maintain contact with carriers and logistics partners. -
Process incoming goods, inventory transactions, and outgoing shipments in the ERP system.
Administrative Support -
Support the processing of web shop orders. -
