There is a push from governments, retailers and consumers to reduce carbon footprint of greenhouses. Voltiris enables double-use of large greenhouses surfaces to produce electricity without impacting their high agricultural yield. Voltiris introduces a solar panel design to generate electricity from the part of sunlight's spectrum that is unused for crop growth.
Mission
Voltiris develops solar energy solutions for agriculture, enabling the dual use of land for food production and clean energy. Recently ranked as the 4th top startup in Switzerland, we are scaling our project portfolio across Switzerland, France, and the Netherlands.
Role Overview
As Senior Project Developer, you will independently own behind-the-meter solar (PV + BESS) projects from early-stage assessment through commissioning, with a strong focus on technical planning. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are technically and economically sound.
Key Responsibilities -
Own solar PV and BESS projects from pre-feasibility through commissioning, with minimal supervision -
Drive internal electrical planning knowledge (AC PV, BESS, Low-/Medium-Voltage grid connection) -
Lead grid connection applications, BESS permitting, and utility coordination -
Provide quote-backed cost estimates and technical inputs for offers and financial models -
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders (client, electrician, suppliers, utilities, partners) -
