As a Final Assembly Mechanic, you work on large, technical products that are deployed worldwide after inspection. What will you do?
As a Final Assembly Mechanic, you are responsible for completely assembling transformers. You place the internal components in the tank and prepare the transformer for the next phase. Then you continue to build the product according to technical drawings and work instructions.
You also connect the feed-throughs in the tank and, during work, check that everything is technically correct. If you encounter a problem during construction, you report it, contribute to finding a solution, and take immediate action where possible. Because final assembly is the last phase before inspection, independence, curiosity, and attention to detail are important.
In addition, you consider improvements to the process. You work on transformers that, after testing and preparation for shipping, travel around the world. In some cases, you may also be involved in the worldwide installation and assembly of transformers.
